    LetsEncrypt DDNS - Question

Did anyone ever find out what's happening here? I am having the same problem using Google DDNS. I find it unusual that the acme-client is trying to send a request to http://XXXXXXX.moo.com/.well-known... instead of https with port 8443. Why would it expect a response on port 80 (especially...

End of year 2017 development update

It seems the RT-AC5300 firmware is at version 3.0.0.4.384.20379 and has AIMesh added like the others on January 26th update in version 3.0.0.4.384.20287. Though, I see this posting was about 20 days earlier and it wasn't out then... but what about now? I'm anxiously awaiting the Merlin update...

    Skype TV Cam

You're right - your way is less overkill. Is this still working for you today? Seems like I can login, but I get immediately logged out. Might have to find a way to mask my client now.... sigh. Microcrap ruins everything.

    WRT-AC5300 - w/ 380.62_1 CPU Core 1 maxed at 100%

Thanks guys for the reply. No I haven't tried that yet. I'll do that next time it maxes out and also pull the router logs.

    WRT-AC5300 - w/ 380.62_1 CPU Core 1 maxed at 100%

CPU Core 1 is getting maxed out at 100%. I've noticed this seems to happen after leaving guest network on for some duration (maybe). Can't get the CPU to drop by removing the Guest network, or rebooting - but a hard reboot seems to get it back to normal. I've had the router for a year...

    Skype TV Cam

I fixed mine by adding an entry in the routers dnsmasq config to point to itself. So that any traffic coming from the lan hits the router and DNS resolution resolves to localhost (which is the router). Launch to your router config page (I'm using Merlin firmware): Go to Administration ->...

    [RT-AC88U/RT-AC3100/RT-AC5300] Initial firmware releases

Well, if Asus's "Add to comparison list" on their website actually worked, you could probably find out easily: http://www.asus.com/us/Networking/Wireless-Routers-Products/ Unfortunately, it doesn't because I guess they forgot to put in a "Compare" button for whatever reason.

    [RT-AC88U/RT-AC3100/RT-AC5300] Initial firmware releases

Here's a version I found of: RT-AC5300_3.0.0.4_380_838-g3504d2f.zip shared it on my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kumcc8y7i4ez3g2/RT-AC5300_3.0.0.4_380_838-g3504d2f.zip?dl=0

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

Thank you sir - that's what I needed to know, that there is no fix for now. I've read before that Asus may need to resolve, and also something about broadcom drivers need to change to address it as well. I also read where some have went in SSH and changed the VLan MAC address and it reduced...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

For a senior member, you don't seem to be very helpful. So -- I've searched the forum, and have tried some of the things suggested in asus support (I'm not using a bridged connection or wifi extender), google (like I mentioned disabling NAT and changing SSID) and and searched forum but didn't...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

Found out a couple of interesting things today playing with this firmware. The older version Nest thermostats don't seem to want to connect to the only Band they can see (2.4Ghz) unless Preamble Type is set to "Short". Prior to that, it would not connect or it would say incorrect password no...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

Thanks Merlin - thats exactly what I needed to know. I can just unplug them to force them to renew I suppose. Thank you for your awesome work!

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

OK - thanks a bunch for the reply! Can I force expiration/rewnewal in any way (script or otherwise?) It's probably not hurting anything just annoying. :-/

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56_2 is now available

Ok - I figured out what the other devices are they are my security cameras on DHCP but don't have a proper hostname and previously I configured them as Static but they are getting carried over somehow. Anyone know how to reset the Static Client List / Mac tables or put them in sync?
