If you got it via text, that is fine. You can use it. I don't have VOIP service, so I don't know how you can setup the service. There should be section for it maybe in ASUSWRT you can check. I didn't do any mac cloning to use the internet. It was plug and play. :)

I assume you are using Superonline for your internet connection. You can replace Huawei router with the AC66U, if you can get a hold of your ISP account and password from them and then directly connect to CAT6 cable to your AC66U WAN port.
