    GT-AXE16000 Owner's Thread

Worked for me correctly, I just did the initial setup on a new GT-AXE16000 the other day. Was flawless, then I installed the latest Merlin Firmware which made it even better.

    Kill switch doesn't work

How about adding a 2nd KillSwitch like Wireguard does? Then problem solved and it's not complex.

State of the project (August 2016)

I will either build my own router or purchase from another company. Asus routers suck without Merlins Firmware "that is my experience over the past several years" The reason why it's harder for Merlin to do his work is not really as important to me as it is to you. The end result is what I...

State of the project (August 2016)

I own the 3200, it will be the last Asus router I purchase, I only purchased because of the updates Merlin was able to give in the past, but Asus has changed their system to be less mod friendly and since that was the only thing I liked above the others they will lose me as a customer. Nothing...

Fixed Bug Report - 380.59 - dhcp-event not firing: My mistake

I was just heading here to report the same thing. I hope it will get fixed in the latest firmware, I might switch back to 380.57 where there was no ipv6/dhcp issue. The router I am using is AC3200.

    Firmware 380.59 Client list problem

I don't have a ps3 here or I would test as well. I do know that when I reset using the button on the back and even in the UI it still did not fix it. I had to Telnet in and clear the nvram that way. So far I am loving the firmware, seems my 5ghz is a bit more stable on the Ac3200 which is nice:)

    Development musings

I wish I knew how to read the firmware and help out I sure would, really have appreciated your Firmware over the years. You're the reason I own a Asus router, best firmware for what I need. When I purchase a new Asus router, the first thing I do is update it to Merlin!!! If there is anything a...

    Firmware 380.59 Client list problem

Update: I did a nvram reset and then powered down and back up. Put in all my settings manually and now it works like it should.

    Firmware 380.59 Client list problem

I just installed the latest Merlin firmware for AC3200 and when I go and click on "View List' under the Network Map section, it works for a few minutes before it stops listing the Clients. Now it shows the number of Clients next to Clients: and if I click on The computer monitor Icon above...

Picture of the Router System Statues: http://postimg.org/image/p2xsgvjgv/ Here is a picture of the router when downloading a file to the usb Hardrive Hooked up to the AC3200, I find even downloading one file at a time, spikes the cpu's often and if we are using the wifi enough it degrades the...

AC3200 plus AC66U Connected Lan to Lan

Hey Colin, That probably is the issue, I did try the other modes, but could not get things working..... I suppose I should ask the question, is there a way to hook up the AC66U as the slave router, that will host Tranmission on a EXT3 USB drive connected to the AC66U's USB port, while using...

AC3200 plus AC66U Connected Lan to Lan

Hey all, I hope this is in the right section, if not my apologies as i learn the forum a bit better... Here is my setup, the AC3200 is the main router, that is hooked up to my cable modem, I am using Merlin Build 378.55 on both routers and the AC3200 works flawless as the main router... I...

    Merlin 378.55 with Ac3200 Ext4 and Transmission/Entware question

Thanks Tim, I was afraid of that, I did read online that you can shut off the journal of EXT4 which I am thinking would make is as stable as ext2 but still a bit snappier, not sure if it's possible to shut it down via the router via telnet?, All my systems are window's based so linux is new...
