I frequently have problems casting from my windows10 laptop to me Samsung TV. The TV does not appear among the devices that I can cast to. This is solved by rebooting my router RT-AC86U which has 386.12_4 fw . Is this a known problem ?

Seems that there is still some problem with network map . Found that I could not change client names. Fixed by killall networkmap .

RT-AC86U - Noticed that free memory had shrunk from about 53MB to 28MB . top showed that httpd %vsz was more than 12%. I have searched but not found if this is a known bug. Restored by restarting the daemon.

Deleting the test history fixes the hanging testing state..

Ookla speedtest stuck in the uploading test phase . It remains stuck in the testing state even after rebooting.

downgrading=reflashing ,that I have done. Have also tried putting the router in rescue mode and reflashing from there .

The luck is that most people were able to return to the original configuration. In my case one router did not want to have anything to do with the mesh after downgrading ,resetting & reconfiguration.
