Serious problem with 2.4ghz and recent firmware versions?

I have had same issues on 2.4 with ac88u. 2.4 would drop off and I would have to reboot router. Flashed to the latest merlin 384.5 and it was fine for 30+ days then it stopped. Rebooted, and it broke again within 8 hours. Flashed back to 380_69_2 until the newer gpl gets merged.

    New AC88U wifi dropping

If you have any google home/chromecast they have been causing network issues galore. Wifi dieing, being spotty, sucking. Google confirmed.

[Test build] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 alpha builds

OMG finally my gigabit internet works with asus firmware. I have the ac-88u and the last firmware released in December 20 fixes my 650mb speed tests. I just updated to this alpha firmware since I see it includes that and it works as well. Been living with this for a year so this will be a nice...

So its not supported on the AC-88U either right? Without FA it is not possible to reach gigabit download speeds right? I reach 650 down 950 up. My rt-n66U reached 900 down.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102w via the USB Print Server

I have the same printer and I have had it on wireless for 5.5 years. No issues once. I work in IT and see a lot of printers and I actually comment this is the most stable printer I have ever seen. When I press print it prints never no issues. I believe it is only wireless g so that is about the...

Apple Powerbook 2012 Model WOL Issue

Is your Mac in Sleep mode? Macs do not do wake on lan from power off. Only xserve had an extra chip for this.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

Actually funny that you bring up door locks. The keyhole is actually the biggest security risk of the lock (bumping, picking). Some locks (Yale) do not come with the keyhole anymore. Other companies still keep it for peace of mind for the user while others get around that by putting a 9v...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

Is Wake on lan working through the wol page for anyone? I use a monitoring program and its not picking up any packets when using the web based page. If I send from another computer it picks it up fine. This is all while windows is on.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

See and that is the hard part to troubleshoot. Another user said 42 firmware was fine and 43 broke the comcast ipv6. Its probably some combination of a setting and firmware or just needs a delay added. Users are all over with what works/ does not. A seperate thread would be the best to track...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

Pretty sure flaming is making fun of you. No one is making fun of you or saying anything you said is stupid. Part of troubleshooting is not assuming anything either. Firmware could be okay it could be Comcast has an issue with the newer firmware etc. Merlin does not seem to want to troubleshoot...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

You can report whatever you want to as I can comment on whatever I want to. You already reported it on the 6th and so forth. 06-06-2014, 09:00 PM jim Yesterday, 12:10 AM merlin Comcast's IPv6 support is simply quirky, the issue isn't the new firmware, it's the fact your router was...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 is out

In other words stop reporting it to merlin about comcast and ipv6. Hes told you over and over again and you just will not listen. Go to stock firmware or back to whatever version you "thought" it worked on before and thats it. If you have a version that works for you for any number of features...

    AC3200 Routers By July?

Almost nobody at home would even need that throughput. Gig is fine for 99% out there. 10gig would probably be here if the world wasnt already moving to wifi streaming due to laptops/tablets not even using ethernet ports anymore. 10 gig ethernet just is not needed at home even in businesses its...
