I wasn't running automatic speed test or anything on current PC when doing ping test. Trying to figure out what's causing the latency spikes in consistent pattern.
You must be in cool place.. cos i see this temps in mine:
fanctrl_info = ; curr_cpuTemp = "59.262"; curr_rxData = fanctrl_info[3]; curr_coreTmp_2 = fanctrl_info[1]; curr_coreTmp_5 = fanctrl_info[2];
I agree with UI - that annoying red theme sucks.
I feel my current AC-3100 as much better...
Recently got GT-AX6000... and updated firmware to latest ASUS one. I have only 2 devices connected on new one at present vs 45 on old AC-3100.
I am seeing constant high ping which used to be like 5-10 ms on old one. Any thoughts on this pattern?
Sorry if i wasn't clear - it could be firmware or new PC. Before I had old laptop which works fine no issues. Anyway i can figure out if it's PC or router?
I didn't face any issues on router before but then i recently updated firmware.
Disconnects + large ping spikes. Both are the problem. Latency goes to 600ms and disconnects are 1-3 seconds which happens every few minutes.
Nop. Router and desktop in same room just little far so can't use LAN cable. I am thinking to get 30 FT lan cable though. Smart connect is disabled as i force the connection of old devices on 2.4Ghz and rest on 5Ghz.
my 5 Ghz setting -
2.4Ghz -
