Yeah exactly. The GT-AX6000 is for me about 125 Euro (per router) cheaper than the RT-AX88U Pro. So I am saving 375 Euro.

@TheLostSwede Well thank you for testing the Guest Network! However, after re-reading this thread again, I think it might be related to running a "Guest Network" along with an AiMesh setup. Hence, the problems I am also experiencing. Maybe @RMerlin has the answer for this?

@maxbraketorque you mean for the RT-AC86U, right? As I do not have the ROG GT-AX6000 routers ofcourse. But running FW 386.12_6 on all of the RT-AC86U. Guest Network is completely broken (see my first post) in the router or in MerlinWRT firmware. I am not going to fool around with these routers...

Sorry for bumping an (somewhat) older thread and "hijacking" someone else's thread, but this is exactly what I deciding between: 3x ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 3x Flint 2 (GL-MT6000) I can get both for almost the same price (3 of them), it's only 10 Euro difference in total... My current setup...

Ah okay. Well moving everything around is a lot of work in my situation. But perhaps some added cleaning would justify it... I have a pretty decent switch I think: Cisco SG200-26.

That's not an easy job, given the locations, power connections and so on. It's easier to test the different profiles or downgrade, as it has worked before upgrading the firmware (as mentioned).

Dunno. But I cannot seem to find 386.45987 for AC86U. It only appears to be for the RT-AC68U? The only current version I can find on the Asus website for my AC86U is: 3.0.0.4.386.45956. Is that correct?

@pinkgrae @tsanga Thanks guys for your answers. Guess I will go back (for the very first time) to the original Asus FW then. And I thought I read somewhere it's being adviced to use the same firmware on all AiMesh devices? And not to mix them? Maybe I am wrong though. Still I do not understand...
