    I see this on my phone the network type is wifi5. In public/other network i can connect as wifi 6. No I haven't changed any other settings.

    exactly, my phone connects as wifi 6 on shopping mall/gym network where the signal is poorer but when I am standing next to my router it connects as wifi 5. I guess I have to reset my router and see that fixes it or not.

    Not the device. Tried those. Didn't work. When I go to gym/grocery store, it connects as WiFi 6 everywhere except my home network 🤷

    I have 1gbps Internet though. Near the router I get near to that speed. With WiFi 6 i would probably get better speed on a different floor.     I don't think it's UI bug, from the wireless log and it shows 802.11ac on 5G but when I connect to 2.4G then it shows 802.11ax.
