Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

One last update on my QNAP QSW-1105-5T, with or without its "loop protection" Aimesh doesn't work.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

Qnap support is considering letting me disable it via CLI. It would be very nice of you to doublecheck the Qnap switch problem :)

No it doesn't work. That switch activates loop protection and blocks all traffic.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

After more coffee I see It's the "Automatic loop detection and blocking to ensure continuous network operation." it has that activate when I try to run aimesh.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

I tried a Qnap QSW-1105-5T unmanaged 2.5Gbps switch. Looked like a good match for the AX11000 aimesh on paper. :(

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

Yea... nope. :( I just tested with a AX11000 and XT8 on the latest betas, aimesh doesn't connect through a switch (at least with my combo). One more bug to report.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0 (continued)

You'll need a 2.5 Gbps switch to get more 2.5 Gbps ports.

I had the same problem and used the Firmware Restoration program to update.
