Any reason why stock is preferred over Merlin/Gnuton for this router? Will definitely consider it. Also, is it better to have Merlin/Gnuton on the main router and the nodes or not the nodes?

Hey, Asus released firmware 3.0.0.4.386.50427 on Oct 12, 22 for the AX68U. Anyone tried it yet? I'm wondering the the 5Ghz radio disconnecting issue is resolved.

This issue is so frustrating. I have a few AX68U routers in a AiMesh setup using the recent 2022 firmware versions and I kept getting the 5Ghz disconnect on one of the nodes almost daily. I had to unplug/re-plug the main router and the node in question to resolve the issue. I got so fed up...
