    [ 386.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Any idea about how I'd resolve it or what caused it? I'll try reinstalling the VPN client in the mean time, but I am clueless as to why this just developed while running the VPN...

    [ 386.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I do have all traffic routed through the VPN, but this is the thing that's new and I've never seen: 'Aug 24 17:48:29 dnsmasq[2799]: Maximum number of concurrent DNS queries reached (max: 150).' When that item dropped into the log, that's when the internet traffic stopped? My VPN Client...

So here is some more VPN weirdness that resulted in Nord VPN shutdown when run from the router... Aug 23 21:44:15 ovpn-client1[2751]: --cipher is not set. Previous OpenVPN version defaulted to BF-CBC as fallback when cipher negotiation failed in this case. If you need this fallback please add...

    [ 386.4 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Here's one small item: The speedtest page is missing in this alpha? The page tab and header info are there, but the control to activate the test, that is missing. Everything else seems to be working...

Did a really dirty upgrade...so far, all seems well! The upgrade was flawless.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 is now available

Install went fine to the 386.3.2 update. Here are the log entries after NORD VPN start that are present in this 386.3 and subsequent update: Aug 7 11:29:28 ovpn-client1[2955]: --cipher is not set. Previous OpenVPN version defaulted to BF-CBC as fallback when cipher negotiation failed in this...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 is now available

Slick dirty upgrade from beta 3 to final. Cycled Nord VPN on/off several times in the router without any hitches. I've been leaving IpV6 off since starting to use the router VPN rather than just running it from the clients, so no feedback on that portion. I am interested in seeing if it still...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.3 beta is now available

Easy upgrade. Only change was to route all traffic through VPN to keep out leaks. Otherwise, flawless!! Thanks, Eric!

    Beta VPN Director testing

Thanks for that info! I'll reinstall Nord for the router. The PC and Android local Nord connections all are working 4.0, so it is a limited problem...

    Beta VPN Director testing

So tried the new alpha (RT-AC5300_386.3_alpha2-gfdb13d8f24) just now. It broke the Nord vpn when run from the router. Here are the router logs: Jun 17 12:29:44 ovpn-client1[3019]: --cipher is not set. Previous OpenVPN version defaulted to BF-CBC as fallback when cipher negotiation failed in...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2_6 is now available

Dirty upgrade, smooth as silk! This update seems to have added 10 mbps to VPN download speeds with VPN handled through the router? Plus, the cpu loading is down from 100% on both cores at a slower speed, to 1 core at 100% and the other at 68-70%. Huge unexpected improvement!!

    OpenVPN client speed

I have the same problem, and I've hit the router CPU limiting with speeds about 40-45 mbps and router CPU's pegged out at 100%. So, the question is, is there a router out there in the ASUS line that has more horsepower and is able to generate higher rates. My Nord VPN running on a local...
