[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

This looks really interesting... can it be used to implement different QOS for different devices - eg, my kids devices have lower QOS priority than the main TV, and my work PC has different settings all together (and is most important)?

    [alpha] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 pre-beta test builds

Am running Alpha 2 on an AC68U - rock solid so far (OpenVPN, standard routing, Parental controls). However, after reviewing the thread about WPS (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/anyone-notice-wps-turn-itself-back-on.39397/), I went to check mine... click Wireless tab, then click to the WPS tab...

[alpha] Early preview builds for Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66

Interesting, My AC68U works well (wifi seems more stable on 66 vs 65 - this is a subjective statement based on number of complaints from teenagers) I also have never had WPS, yet following this update, WPS is on. Turned it off again... will watch it.

So... which eco-system does one go for?

Interesting that you mention Vera... I was looking at that earlier. Next question would be best bulbs, and best plug switches (Im UK based)

So... which eco-system does one go for?

Since "Smart home" tech seems to be becoming the norm, the question is which one do I invest in? It seems that most need their own "hub" (some newer items dont) It seems that most seem to need their own "app" I guess its more down to what I want to do... 1) Control the Multi-zone heating...

Malware Filter / bad host IPSET

Scratch this... I can see the problem - this script is intended to block connections from LAN through to known malware sources... the other one needs to prevent them from coming into the LAN in the first place (FORWARD vs INPUT)

Malware Filter / bad host IPSET

Hi, I have implemented this script, and seems to work OK. Is it possible to include the Country & TorNode blocking that is covered in the first script on the wiki page by adding the appropriate URL's to the list file?

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 Beta is now available

Working perfectly with my AC68U, on Sky ISP with ipV6. Nothing too fancy, blend of IPTV, NAS, Android, Apple, Windoze, Mac etc Dont use ABSolution (Yet), but do use IPSET filters to block malware & specific Countries. OpenVPN seems to work fine too.

    Dropbear...

Ah yes, that was it... I had relented and let the AV suite upgrade itself, and forgot to remove the Network scanner. Thanks Merlin...

    Dropbear...

Ever since the recent spate of attacks and things, I cranked up my logging (and changed credentials). I now get in the logs:- Jan 16 05:57:54 dropbear[2867]: Child connection from 192.168.x.x:60384 Jan 16 05:57:54 dropbear[2867]: Early exit: Failed socket address: Transport endpoint is not...

TrendMicro - updates in firmware builds?

There is no TrendMicro AntiVirus baked in... it's a DPI solution to check if the site access is within a permitted category. You still need independant A/V solution.

[Test build] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 alpha builds

My AC68U seems Ok thus far, apart from the Tools tab. Let kids thrash it now so see how it holds up.
