Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

So why this model is not listed in the EOL list? It is actually recommended instead. https://www.asus.com/event/network/eol-product/

    USB drive delayed access

I'm puzzled. The HDD had a led, whuch turned itself off after some time (around 5 minutes). The SSD enclosure led is powered all the time. The SDD nvme is taken from the laptop.

    USB drive delayed access

I'm not assuming, this was officiall answer from Ugreen. It worked before btw, but the last update screwed it.

    USB drive delayed access

Ugreen has told me that they don't use any power timers in their ssd m2 enclosures. They said it is your router, PC job. So that is completely ASUS fault.

    USB drive delayed access

Asus has removed the hibernation option with the latest updates. Now USB always hibernates. SSD drives behind the router USB are useless now, because you cannot access it instantly. You have to wait for a ling time and, in some cases, the connection crashes. Why did they do this?

USB attached SSD (nvme) is slower than HDD

Thank you for the answer! I will keep experimenting. I ordered 3A USB 2 cable and onced received, i will try to use Asus USB port in USB 2 Mode. Also, Asus removed the option to turn off the USB hibernation, which was very handy for HDD (it doesn't work constantly, so no noise). But not for the...

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Absolutely bad, that I cannot keep the USB port always on now. Every time I want to access the drive, I have to wait about 7-10 seconds.

USB attached SSD (nvme) is slower than HDD

I'm wondering, why on my Asus TUF ax5400, the write/read of the SSD drive is two times slower than with my previous HHD drive? With the HDD I had approximately 46MB, but with the SSD is around 23MB. The SSD support up to 7,000MB/s1 read/write. The SSD is nvme m2 inside Ugreen enclosure. Same...

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

Yeah, they have replaced the manual timer to the automatic one. I haven't yet counted how long it takes to put USB to sleep.

Release ASUS TUF-AX5400 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24121

I have Attached HDD drive on the USB port. I noticed that with the latest version there is no USB hibernation option. Why they have removed it (under Administration, System).

    Samba Issue

BTW, after upgrading my Tuf-AX500 to the latest 3.0.0.4.388_23285, I was able to add the USB HDD to Sonos successfully. I used forward slashes, btw. I won´t updating the library again though, as I´m not sure if second time will be successful too. ))
