    This unfortunately didn't work either. :( This is so weird, it's literally only an issue on 5ghz and it stops working almost immediately. There are only 2-3 devices on 5ghz band too.

    I have not changed anything on the 5ghz band and I'm not using dual band smart connect (my 2.4ghz band and 5ghz band are separated). I'm also not using DFS channels.

    So I updated to the new firmware and have been going nuts figuring this out. I can only assume it’s the new firmware at this point. It crashes whenever I torrent/FaceTime/download large files/mega sync, basically anything data intensive. It’s so frustrating. The 2.4ghz band works fine though.

    What's the best way to force all traffic through the pihole for any devices that may have hardcoded DNS on an ASUS router with Merlin? Additionally, will I still be able to see which devices is blocking what in pihole if I do this?
