    I believe that is for a local drive attached to the NAS, backup to a local folder on the NAS, or to backup to another NAS via rsync. To backup directly to another shared drive on the network from a Synology NAS is not possible AFAIK.

    Thanks for the info, that seems to make sense. I wonder how essential FA is; I was able to transfer ~900 Mbps across my network with just CTF. Is CTF and FA only for WAN to LAN and LAN to WAN traffic?

    I'm almost positive it's a firmware issue. I had no problems until I updated past a certain point. I didn't notice it initially because I wasn't running the firmware long enough for it happen. Currently it crashes for me after about two weeks.

    Well so far so good. For me the 5G dropped after 2-3 weeks so I won't know for another week or two (downgraded last weekend). I will post an update then and let you know!

    I would suggest rolling back even further; I can confirm 5G drops on 380.64_2. Has happened a couple of times since I updated to 380.64_2... after a few weeks the 5 Ghz wifi goes dead (didn't check 2.4 Ghz network) and all internet stops working to wired clients as well. Haven't updated past...
