Scribe Rolling Kernel Error on AX86U

I noticed this too. If I install scribe, I get those messages. If I use a syslog server, I get those messages as well.

    [Alpha] 386.2

Upgraded my AX86U to the latest 386.2 alpha 1 this morning from 386.1 release. Not sure if webui: add missing Netools and Wifi Insight pages to GT-AC2900 and RT-AX86U (fixes #690) means - but i tried the WiFi Insight Site Survey and Channel Statistics after enabling data collection. Noticed...

Scribe Rolling Kernel Error on AX86U

So far, only afflicting the AX86U with scribe installed - never had this come up on my old AC86U. From what I'm reading, it's just debugging output from Broadcom code, and harmless, although it's totally spamming the log

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

You do know that Eric communicates with Asus directly and he obtains GPL releases directly from them before public GPL release too. Not sure if Asus Poland has a different view on the firmware released/installed though... To install or not, it’s your choice of course.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

5+ months later, the Beast is finally alive

So do you play games on the beast since you have extra time now? :D Congrats on the 5900x find! Will skip the last upgrade of the AM4 platform and upgrade my computer in 2 years

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

Since the problem resolved after disabling Guest Network, don't use Guest Network 1 (both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz). Use either GN2 or GN3 for now until Asus code has resolved all issues.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

do you have scribe installed? I am only having this kernel alarm when scribe is installed and will disappear after it’s removed. It won’t reboot/crash my router though - or at least i didn’t leave it long enough to let it crash

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

Anyone with the AX86U has scribe installed? Mine still has the rolling kernel alarm whenever scribe is installed. I also have diversion, skynet, connmon, ntpmerlin and scmerlin installled. kernel: _blog_emit, blogp = 0x6 kernel: _blog_emit, blogp = 0x4 kernel: _blog_emit, blogp = 0x2240 kernel...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

No need to physically unplug, just unmount it from the gui and update the FW. As a best practise, you should just unmount any usb device attached to avoid any issues - usually device reboots, but does not run the FE update when usb storage attached

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta is now available

18 hours with Beta 3 on AX86U. Temps are 2.4 GHz: 50°C - 5 GHz: 53°C - CPU: 78°C with ambient temps of 27-32C now. Still having rolling kernal alarms when scribe installed (disappears when uninstalled): kernel: _blog_emit, blogp = 0x6 kernel: _blog_emit, blogp = 0x4 kernel: _blog_emit...
