Sorry for the delay. Here is an excerpt of the full log. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Devices disassociate, busy log

Hi, Thanks. There are some items which would power save (laptop, iPad) but other items I am not sure would sleep (access point, weather station, ethernet switch). The promiscuous mode also bothers me. I've had this happened before and it was something I suspected got access to my network...

    Devices disassociate, busy log

Hello, I am finding that my network is disassociating clients and my log is pretty chatty; here are a few excerpts. Any thoughts on what might be going on here and what I might have to do to fix it? If I have a device on the network which is being accessed externally, how can I isolate it...

    AMTM MD5 Hash Mismatch

Thanks - you were spot on again! Yes, this is a USB SSD flash drive. Checked it out on another PC and indeed it was write protected. Could not believe it as it is only like 2 weeks old! I thought I saw this Sandisk model as a recommended drive in another thread. Anyway, that's going back to...

    AMTM MD5 Hash Mismatch

Thanks -- glad that's not an issue. But the USB Drive is still showing unmounted when I boot up and I am getting this write error. How can this be since it is a new Sandisk SSD drive that I formatted in the router? Should I reformat again, if I can? Should I reformat outside of the router?

    AMTM MD5 Hash Mismatch

Hmmmm, looks like I popped the champagne too early. I ran the availUpd command above and everything worked at least initially. Now, AMTM does not show the MD5 mismatch, but now it seems the new SSD USB Drive is not being mounted upon router restart when I log into to the router GUI. Also...

OMG - YES! This is such an obvious solution! How did I miss this? Already set up and good to go. Thank you!

Current Status of Time Machine for MacOS on Merlin Firmware

Thanks; understood I don't need Apple specific hardware. I do have a RPi 4 lying around that I am not really doing anything with, and I am willing to try it. Is there a step-by-step tutorial you can point me to for this?

Current Status of Time Machine for MacOS on Merlin Firmware

Thanks -- I have set this up before, so I am familiar with these pages. Originally, I thought the 4TB drive would work but then found out after I bought it only the 2TB default would be supported. My problem is that the Merlin software won't even see the drive even when I format it with the...

Current Status of Time Machine for MacOS on Merlin Firmware

Hi, I would like to use a 4TB Seagate external HDD to serve as a back-up for multiple laptops on my home network; this worked a few years ago but then stopped working, but I am trying to re-establish this functionality. I am trying to piece together the current state of affairs about using the...

Solved Replacing USB (Contains Entware) - Safest & Most Efficient Way?

Hi -- I have a couple further questions on this process. I am using an RT-AX88U so I do have 2 USB ports: a). If I add the new drive into the second USB port (rear of the router), do I have to keep it there permanently? Or can I move it back to the port where the current USB stick is (front...

    AMTM MD5 Hash Mismatch

Thanks. I got busy with the holiday this week and didn't get a chance to look at this until now. Interestingly, I am not sure if the ISP resolved some things itself, but I still have the warning on the AMTM main screen, but everything redownloaded correctly when I tried "uu" to force update...
