Selecting to use the new WPA3 encryption option?

Finally, should I still switch to using WPA3 PERSONAL or it would not make it any more secure? If the answer is yes, then I’ll have to set my older devices which are on the 2.4Ghz band to leave those only on the WPA2 and for the devices which supports WPA3, those will be on the 5Ghz band.

Selecting to use the new WPA3 encryption option?

Thanks so much for the explanation. I’ll stick to my strong password. Your right, I don’t have to remember the WiFi password, but if I forget my router admin password, now that would be an issue.

Selecting to use the new WPA3 encryption option?

Another question. With WPA3 Personal, can I set a less shorter WiFi password as long as it is complex? In other words, I can make it shorter but still leaving it complex. On my AX86U router I don’t see the selection to enable Simultaneous Authentication of Equals (SAE) which allows to set...

Selecting to use the new WPA3 encryption option?

I have my iPhone 13 mini and a MacBook that supports WPA3 Personal and of course, the AX86U does as well. When selecting WPA3 PERSONAL on my AX86U router, should I enable the Protected Management Framework? Will this slow down my internet connection if I enable it? Does the PMF also provide...

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

Okay. Thanks for the explanation. Can you do me a favor please? Can you try using Edge to open up your ASUS router settings and see if it looks the same as mine as being Grey as opposed to being Blue in Chrome? The settings in Edge is NOT really ensuring to the eye...As I always think that the...

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

So just to confirm again from my image here under the Firewall settings, if I see the button that is filled with grey with a white ring outside of it, does that mean it is enabled?

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

Think I understand now. For example, if I wanted to Disable Firewall I would choose NO (solid white color) and the YES option would then turn to the solid white color and then the NO would be the clear one? Correct?

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

So the blank or clear radio buttons means enabled and solid white means disabled? I’m still confused and why don’t I have the blue colored selections as from the other image? Did ASUS change this to their latest firmware updates?

Very confusing selection buttons on ASUS AX86U

Hi, I am new to this forum and I have an ASUS AX86u router running the latest firmware and I noticed something odd and strange about the selection radio buttons. Mine seems to be white and not blue when selecting the options No or Yes as compared from my other image gathered from another...
