Just looked into it. AdGuard only blocks ads in safari (correct me if I am wrong). It is not free either. I have disabled iCould private relay. But thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, I like the idea that I can hide my ip with iCloud private relay. At the same time, I enjoy the internet without ads. Just can't have them both.

This may not be surprised. iCloud private relay works "like a VPN", which will hide IP address even in the local network. This feature prevents Diversion ad-blocker from working. Does anyone have any ideas to fix this issue? Or it is simply not solvable?

URL filter actually works for https. But it will not work when VPN is used in the client, which makes sense because the packets are not encrypted by the router. Yeah, I will try DNSMasq. Thanks for the solution.
