[Flexible Volumes & Storage Pools] Static Single vs Thick Multiple vs Thin Multiple Volumes

In now using one main Thick Volume for my Multimedia, a Thick Volume for my Time machine back ups and an isolated Thick Volume for my other back ups. It's much easier this way from what I've found. Things play nicer ... Powered by: Quad Core Exynos + 6820HK

    TVS-x71 (PT, i3, i5, and i7) CPU+System+HD Temperture? Plex New Transcoder = High CPU usage/temps

I had thought so...as it would introduce air bubbles. Thanks for confirming and thanks for the possible pics :) Powered by: Octa Core Exynos

    TVS-x71 (PT, i3, i5, and i7) CPU+System+HD Temperture? Plex New Transcoder = High CPU usage/temps

Sounds good. Did you unplug the hose? Or cut a slit on the top to be able to position the hose to fit inside the 10Gbe ports? Mind posting some pictures? That'd be great. Thanks for all your input. Powered by: Octa Core Exynos

    TVS-x71 (PT, i3, i5, and i7) CPU+System+HD Temperture? Plex New Transcoder = High CPU usage/temps

Brilliant. Thanks! So if you had to do it all over again, you'd get the corsair? Would you mind listing a good set up for my tvs-671? Did you run the two hoses along the side of the inside between the motherboard and HD's or run them out the upper top through the 10Gbe slots? Powered by: Octa...

    TVS-x71 (PT, i3, i5, and i7) CPU+System+HD Temperture? Plex New Transcoder = High CPU usage/temps

Very nice! Congrats... I may need to get some advice from you as I'm going to mod my TVS-671 (i7) as well. With the fans wiring, did you just change out the plugs? Or do a lot of splicing? Which wires did you tap into for the power source for the pump? (It needs a solid and consistent 12V ya?)...

    NAS recommendation

6TB's from any company is still not as tested and proven as the 4TB drives. The bottom line is that the 4TB's have a better track record. But you have to make due with what you can .... Sent from my Note 4 [Powered by: FireKat V20X]

Because I am needing to upgrade to the TVS-ECx80U-SAS Series. I have 3 QNAP NAS's all TVS-x71 line with (i7). They are all spotless. I am OCD.

Sorry to hear about your drives. I hope you'll be able to recover as much as you can. The x53 Family only has the quad core 2.0GHz Celeron CPU. It should be okay for the rebuild of a Raid 5. However, if you're wanting performance I would stay way from the x53 line. It can barely handle one...

    TVS-x71 (PT, i3, i5, and i7) CPU+System+HD Temperture? Plex New Transcoder = High CPU usage/temps

Sounds great. I was too thinking about modifying the rear back plate, however, upon measuring it, the length of the hoses seem to be perfect to place the radiator outside of fan #2 (push) -> radiator -> Intel fan for (pull)... I've been really curious about the heat sink as well sitting flush...
