Indeed....Thick Volume works great.

In now using one main Thick Volume for my Multimedia, a Thick Volume for my Time machine back ups and an isolated Thick Volume for my other back ups. It's much easier this way from what I've found. Things play nicer ... Powered by: Quad Core Exynos + 6820HK

Very nice! Congrats... I may need to get some advice from you as I'm going to mod my TVS-671 (i7) as well. With the fans wiring, did you just change out the plugs? Or do a lot of splicing? Which wires did you tap into for the power source for the pump? (It needs a solid and consistent 12V ya?)...

Because I am needing to upgrade to the TVS-ECx80U-SAS Series. I have 3 QNAP NAS's all TVS-x71 line with (i7). They are all spotless. I am OCD.

Sorry to hear about your drives. I hope you'll be able to recover as much as you can. The x53 Family only has the quad core 2.0GHz Celeron CPU. It should be okay for the rebuild of a Raid 5. However, if you're wanting performance I would stay way from the x53 line. It can barely handle one...

The new interface....I like it as it's refreshing.... If Windows 10 and Apple iOS had a baby . . . QTS 4.2

Sounds great. I was too thinking about modifying the rear back plate, however, upon measuring it, the length of the hoses seem to be perfect to place the radiator outside of fan #2 (push) -> radiator -> Intel fan for (pull)... I've been really curious about the heat sink as well sitting flush...
