Nothing to contribute other than sympathy @joe_ . It's the unpredictability I can't stand. After months of problems with a node dropping back to 2.4GHz, and constant factory resets and starts from scratch, Merlin, you name it, I thought everything was going ok with 2 whole months of solid 5GHz...

Got mine set to 80Mhz also. EDIT: I should have said I have fronthaul (5Ghz-1) set to 80Mhz - backhaul I still have on all its defaults.

Same as above. 5Ghz wireless backhaul will be ok after a reboot, then drop after a certain amount of time. Could be a few hours, or a few days. Pretty much the same on any firmware after 48706. Had been solid for 4 weeks on 48706 from start of November. Took the plunge and installed 21617...
