You nailed it on the filtering/NAT'ing from RouterA. Thank you for your help!

    Help with routing tables

Sorry, I'll try again, thanks for trying to help me here. Basically A and C are different buildings, with their own internet and their own services etc... Router B is a middle man, that bridges the two networks effectively. B and C are running Tomato firmware, A is Routerboard. Anyone...

    Help with routing tables

That is not the configuration of the network. There are 3 routers (for a variety of reasons), one router is basically a man in the middle between the two network segments. I'm aware that as a 'gateway' it is doing NAT, port forwarding is not an option here. I need the two subnets to be...

    Help with routing tables

I have been attempting to create a wireless bridge between two buildings using 2 routers (effectively 3). I've run into a bit of a road block when it comes to routing from one network to the other. Here are the basics of the configurations A) 192.168.5.1 (LAN) static route...

    Bridging with 2xN66U's

Looks like the static route from the other router fixed it. I'll experiment with it for a while. It doesn't seem like the stock Asus firmware can pass more than one DNS server over DHCP, which is a shame because I have a couple around. I may need to upgrade the 'stock' router to tomato as well.

    Bridging with 2xN66U's

Ok well it looks like it was the routerA's 'client' mode that was giving me fits. Reverting to WDS solved that issue. (i.e. ethernet would not be able to ping 192.168.5.1 if the 2.4ghz mode was set to client. Setting it to AP or AP+WDS immediately resolved it) From buildingB I can get the...

    Bridging with 2xN66U's

I've got an interesting setup I'm trying to achieve. I have one building with an existing switched network on the 192.168.5.0 subnet. Has DHCP, internet and some other services. I need to bridge a small 15 foot gap between buildings with concrete walls. I decided to setup a N66U router over...
