not sure if it's a typo or not, but i do not see AX86S listed on merlins homepage over supported routers... anyway this could be worth a try in my opinion... leave the power button on. disconnect all cables from the router (power cord and all network cables) let it be for 30 minutes try...

Not so far (but it's only been running for a couple of days so far on the 102.5 fw)... I am about to replace a remote AX88 which been running flawless for months, with an AX88 Pro. And it will give me problems if DDNS/OVPN stops working.

Does anyone know if this problem apply to all routers running 102.5 fw, or if it's a model specific problem i.e. BE routers and not AX routers?

When you factory reset, did you thick the "initialize" box next to the reset button in gui?

Nodes first, then the router. It's not a 100% right or wrong to this, but many advise that the nodes should be running stock Asus fw and not Merlin, even though you are running Merlin on the router. At least worth a try if you are experiencing "hiccups"...
