I'll say I pretty consistently hit around 2.3-2.4 gigabits on my 2gb fiber connection so that is nice at least but that is bypassing the gateway and such. I honestly don't have access to 10gb and doubt I'd ever want to pay that premium unless it was somehow as cheap as my 2gb or a few $ a away...
Well that makes me a bit of a sad panda lol.. Glad I didn't do the 5gb fiber upgrade for 104 a month from AT&T I guess.. Thanks for telling me this and code does make sense.
I didn't see it but is internet speed test fixed in this version? On my AXE-16000 it's been broke for a few versions and just shows what shows in this picture below.
Does anyone have an issue after updating to 3006.102 beta where it doesn't matter what domains you add it never routes over the VPN? It was working before but I can't seem to get it to route over the VPN for any domain. I tried fully uninstalling and setting the domain lists up from scratch but...
I've always said asus should back a truck load of money up to their house and work with merlin to improve their router firmware further. If merlin was stock that'd be just amazing.
I trust merlin more than ASUS to be honest. As long as Merlin supports the 16000 I'll be happy as I know they will at least try to keep everything patched and stuff. It's one of the only reasons I went asus routers. Merlin's customizations just make it so much nicer and honestly better in...
I personally only wanted a router that merlin supported and that can do the throughput. I bought a mesh for the access points and "upgrade" that separately. I run the AXE16000 but I got it as a warranty exchange for my 89x that had a bug that asus refused to resolve.
No fix for it when I had it.. ASUS eventually caved and sent me a gt-ax16000 which allows me to run merlin. It's a problem with their firmware and they won't fix it.
Should also state I had to complain A LOT... took them like 4 and a half months to finally cave and send me that. They originally...
Right I assumed though if I didn't use the ports on the wireguard server that we are talking about that wouldn't affect it. Guess my assumption was wrong though.
I guess I also assumed the client running on the router to the VPN service wouldn't affect anything though I can't change the port...
