    Which mesh device to purchase for 4500sq ft house?

    I must be hallucinating as my AC3200 and AX1100pro cover my 6000 sq ft home no problem , no mesh no extenders just the single router . Depends on house construction and router placement , or maybe I'm FOS ?

    Looking to buy AX router.

    the wrt54g was great used mine for years then came the wrt300 and wrt600 which lost support after 6 months , Linksys never bothered to fix a few bugs on them then dropped all support after a few months , never bought Linksys again . I would go for the 88u pro , best bang for the $

    1.5Gb fiber connection with 3 mesh nodes. Clients getting ~500Mbps. Setting or nature of AIMesh?

    what is the house made of concrete ? my house in the city is 6000 sq feet concrete basement brick then cemet blocks and wood frame and I get full coverage using one router , I like to keep things as simple as possible . wired should get better perf for sure I'm getting 800 with AX clients...

    are the access points connecting to the router to get to the internet or is there some magic trick I don't get ?

    if you had better perf using one comcast router why not getrid of mesh and "smart" connect assign clirents a channel each in2.4 and 5 ghz

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.7 beta is now available

    all is working well thanks , memory use is down 10% from other Firmwares it has always been at 63% now at 53% , wiregaurd and all else works as expected .

    Colour me stupid but am getting confused still listed as alpha1 on the download page , updated and changed the FW numbers on my sig , I take it I'm updated ? everything is running well

    thanks updated to the latest on page one . Wish the router would give me proper info on FW versions , you might be right about alpha builds
