Draytek 2920n - Dual Wan Router. QOS help

So I decided to give the Draytek 2920 a try. We have two ISP. Cable - 50mb/10mb 2WireDSL - 18mb/1.5 I have both WANs running doing load balancing. Our issue: We connect to an Asterisk VOIP server and have about 30 VOIP phones here in our network. Our old router - an inexpensive...

Dual Wan Router w/ Failover for VOIP

One more thing - I found some threads about failover where calls would not be dropped. That is not important to me. What is important is that if the Cable Modem goes down - the router can see it is down and switch over automatically to the backup WAN. Or just steer all traffic out that route.

Dual Wan Router w/ Failover for VOIP

We are using VOIP to connect to a phone server hosted in the cloud. It is running Asterisk. Our phone provider gave us Asus WL-520GU routers that are flashed with Tomato V1.27 (Current Version: 1.27.8744 ND USB Std) This router works great in that it does all the QOS for our phones...

Asus RT-N66U someone please explain the firewall to me.

I have not used Tomato or DD-WRT - but does anyone know if these firewall features are "easy to use" or built into these firmwares? Maybe trying one of these will solve my issues?

Asus RT-N66U someone please explain the firewall to me.

Running a scaled down linux kernal (UnRaid). So installing and setting up a firewall there is pretty much over my head. Especially when my old DLink Router had this feature.

Asus RT-N66U someone please explain the firewall to me.

Can anyone tell me how I can stop the attacks? I have over 100,000 failed login attempts in the last 2 hours on my home FTP site. How do I block all incoming IP's from attempting to log into my FTP except for known "white list" IPs? Anyone?

Asus RT-N66U someone please explain the firewall to me.

I have an FTP server I run at home. My old D-Link router had a feature where I could filter incoming requests by IP allowing only my white listed IP's to get through. Blocking all other ip's. My FTP server continually gets attacked with thousands of login attempts. I would like to...
