    Thanks. To be clear. Do i add this to Private Reverse DNS Server? I already have the IP of the router in there and Checked both User Private Reverse DNS and Enable Reverse Resolving. Also, am curious. The router does not look up hosts locally at all by design?

    I have an AP AC3100, i will swap the power on them. But why? Something weird with the power causing the device to brick/corrupt in some way? I guess not much else i can do but see if the issue follows the power supply to the AP. thanks

    Thanks for prompting me. I removed the pihole for now, if NextDNS works ongoing then great, if not i fail back to pihole. I guess i need to explore the best cache/proxy method now - eg stubby, dnscrypt-proxy ?
