    Release ASUS RT-BE92U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_38980 (2025/11/18)

So I've still had problems with this latest firmware version like my wifi cameras or Wii/Wii U consoles not connecting to the Wi-Fi and would only connect to the Wi-Fi after a router reboot so it's not quite perfect but it's still better than the shirtshow that was the first few firmware...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I have Ai protection, QoS, apps analysis, Traffic Analyzer, MLO, and IPV6 enabled and I have random internet drops. But when I do AI protection, and ipv6 only, it seems relatively stable. It seems like enabling all the advertised Asus services causes some stability issues but if you keep most of...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I already reported the logs like 5 times using the built in feedback tool and the only thing asus has responded with is to wait 1-2 business days and it's been more than a week.

RIP I paid MSRP at best buy 299 for this a while back. With all the bugs and such this router initially had I should have waited.

Difference between "mlo fronthaul for clients" and MLO in wireless tab RT-BE92U

I want to turn on MLO but I don't know what the difference is between these two options for MLO. If I have MLO enabled in the wireless tab but leave "mlo fronthaul for clients" disabled, will my phones and laptops and other devices still support MLO and will it still work?

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Are you testing with "mlo fronthaul for clients" enabled in the network tab or just MLO in the wireless tab or do you have both enabled?

    Release ASUS RT-BE96U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37024 (10/23/2024)

I'm still not sure what the difference is between having "MLO Fronthaul for clients" enabled and the difference between having MLO enabled in the wireless tab. If you have MLO enabled in the wireless tab but leave "MLO Fronthaul for clients" disabled, do you still have MLO support for your phone...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I have MLO enabled in network settings but I have MLO Fronthaul for clients disabled in the network settings. What does MLO Fronthaul for clients do? Isn't it the same as turning on MLO in the wireless tab?

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Not sure if it's MLO specific and isolated to wireless devices only because when I had everything enabled, I would have no internet connection even on devices that were connected via ethernet.

I have Ai protection, QoS, apps analysis, Traffic Analyzer, MLO, and IPV6 enabled and I have random internet drops. But when I do AI protection, MLO, and ipv6 only, it seems relatively stable and passes the two day mark as before it would drop in less than a day. I’m assuming having everything...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I’m using latest firmware and have additional services enabled but I’m having random loss of connectivity issues. I’m assuming it’s due to the additional services because when I turn it off, it seemed stable because before it would fail within a day.

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Do you have all the other features I mentioned enabled but just QoS off? If so, I'm going to try that as I just disabled Ai protection, QoS, apps analysis, Traffic Analyzer, MLO, and IPV6 but if you have all those features enabled except for QoS I'm going to try that and see if it leads to any...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Should I disable QoS and other features like Ai protection, apps analysis, Traffic Analyzer, and IPV6 as I don't know if these additional features that were off by default are bogging down my system and causing it to hang. With everything I would want turned on, I'm at around 80% memory usage.

How do I configure asus smartconnect RT-BE92U kicking off devices from 6ghz

I don’t think that’s the case because I have it in device manager settings in windows to prioritize 6ghz so I’m pretty certain it’s the router. When I disconnect and reconnect my laptop it goes to the 6ghz band so I’m pretty sure it’s the router.

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Also there are lots of Amazon reviews describing similar things I’m facing except they have random reboots or high cpu usage not directly mentioning random loss of network connectivity when sorted by newest so idk if it’s a firmware thing or not.
