Solved OpenVPN clients can't resolve custom domains defined in dnsmasq config
Turns out my guess was spot on. Confirmed and resolved after testing on a non-iOS client and sharpening my Google fu a bit. The problem is that on iOS, OpenVPN only routes DNS queries to the VPN's DNS server for specified search domains. In my case, the search domain was "home.arpa", so DNS...- jkbach
