[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thank you ! It works great now, regrev has changed to 45 for the nvram show command but still 47 from the bootloader one Is this something I should be concerned about ? Like in the future, anything specific I should avoid so as not to revert the regrev to 47 ? 0:ccode=JP 1:ccode=JP...

Ok back on 378.55 with a nvram erase right as the router was rebooting. 5ghz working, nvram show command result is still size: 43684 bytes (21852 left) 1:ccode=JP 0:regrev=45 0:ccode=JP 1:regrev=47 Quick question: is it safe to do a nvram-restore on 378.55 with the backup I have from 26E4 ?

Same values as with the 27E5 (except for the size which differed by a few bytes) size: 46818 bytes (18718 left) 1:ccode=JP 0:regrev=45 0:ccode=JP 1:regrev=47 I'm back on 27E5 now and did the nvram erase trick from Sanna1967 right as I was rebooting. Unfortunately nothing changed. I also...

I'm only doing factory reset via the GUI. I haven't done any nvram erase yet (just restore) Also, I updated to 378.55 to check and 5ghz wifi works (and indeed I have a lot more options for the control channels) All values are also as posted above.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem to have changed except for the bootloader version What I did: - update to 378.55 - load up 27E5 - reboot - factory reset - nvram clean restore - (check wifi and values here - no change) - factory reset - manual settings - (recheck again, no change) Currently...

Is there a specific procedure for that ? Or I can just upgrade and downgrade without any particular steps (nvram, factory reset etc) ?

Here's the output 0:ccode=JP 1:ccode=JP bl_version=1.0.1.6 0:regrev=45 1:regrev=47 I should also add that all values (including the ones with the nvram command) are with the 26E4 firmware. Are they expected to be any different with 27E5 ? Should I flash 27E5 and run those commands again ?

It says and the Tx power adjustment setting is set to 80mW Thanks for the confirmation ! Looks like my region might be the problem... I'll give it a try tonight - thanks for the hint. Ok thanks for the help ! If you need any additional info please let me know. EDIT: I ran the commands...

I live in Japan and the router was bought in Japan as well. I haven't modified the router either: simply running the custom firmware.

I tried updating to 27E5 again and this time, made sure to: - save my settings with nvram-save (r26) - reset to factory defaults - update to 27E5 - reset to factory defaults - clean restore nvram settings along with reboots whenever asked. However, still the same results: 5ghz wifi not...

That's a shame. I wish there was an option to be able to choose the behaviour. I tried to scan for networks right after the factory reset: only the default 2.4ghz "ASUS" ssid was visible, the 5ghz "ASUS_5G" one was not. After that I uploaded my settings using the web interface - I didn't see...

Model: RT-AC68U A1 Flashed 27E5 from 26E4 TL;DR 5GHz wifi doesn't seem to be working, 2.4ghz is good though - reverted back to 26E4 for the time being Longer version 3 hours ago I was running 25E8 and decided to check if the router had a new update: it did and that time, the latest version...
