    Yes Main router sees it plugged in and also wireless. Things seem to be working pretty good but I don't think they hand off/Switch to diffrent nodes soon enough, the signal can get pretty weak in spots and it still is hooked to the further away router.

    My Current node is set up wireless for backhaul, Just was easier than trying to run a wire. Could I take that node outside and plug the Nano into the Wan port and see? What would be the benefits of using Aimesh instead of the AP? I am really sorry if questions seem basic but I really as you...

    The one I am running as an AP is about 100 Ft away from Main router and I am not getting a very strong Aimesh signal when I had tried it, So I have Cat 5 from Main router to Nano station and another nano station Cat 5 connected to AP in the shop.

    So I should do a Hard reset using WPS? I have all of my screen shots so hopefully when I do it I can get everything working correctly. Should I have to do anything to my AP Router or should nothing change with that one, Only Would need to connect the Aimesh Node router?

    I Did a Firmware update and it seems to be working fine, I didn't do a Hard Reset before doing it as I did not see that suggestion until after I did it.     I see the latest firmware is mid 2022 for my router according to ASUS website, I am a few updates behind.

    I have had issues in the past when updating firmware and Internet speed, But it may have just been a fluke, Should I keep up with the updates? If so On all routers or the nodes as well? What about ones acting as access points? Thanks

    AC 3100 set up as a AP starts of fast but needs to be rebooted daily?

    Hi, I have a RT 5300 in the house hooked up to Nano stations,One is hooked to my primary router and one is hooked up in my shop to a AC 3100 . I get very good speeds out there if I reboot the AC3100 AP Router before I use it. It will slow down to almost nothing after a little bit of use. Any ideas?
