I had same issues when i upgraded from ac86u to ax88 pro....using wireguard with torguard vpn....spent weeks knowing I had something messed up....then I finally noticed I had the dns in wireguard settings to google....changed it to 192.168.50.1...diversion now works perfect through vpn

wireguard session manger in addon section....been using it for 5 months on 86u no issues...my speeds are ~2.5 times faster than openvpn

as a followup... couldn't get 2nd client to handshake.....knowing enough about networking to be dangerous.....i did realise that unbound and wgm use dns masque...so i uninstalled unbound and reinstalled wgm.....and got client wg11 working.....thinking i had something messed up. So when i got it...

so .....I've been messing with this for a week......was thinking I'd format a usb and start from scratch. Unplugged router last night and fired it up this am....uninstalled unbound...thinking my setting there could be playing havoc.....went into wgm....removed wg11.... then re-created...

so i tried both options for disabling ip6......no errors setting up client.....internet worked.....but wasn't going through tunnel...tried wg11 and wg12.....with different torguard servers.....checked with several utilities....and speed test went to bell aliant (isp provider) and speeds...

so i fixed that...still no go.....uninstalled and rebooted.....didn't use save option...to start from scratch...still no go i created wg11.conf in wireguard.d.......imported it....ran.... peer wg11 rule add I do appreciate this is an advanced thread......maybe I'm just doing it all wrong...

Thanks for above.....I had to redo (my usb) from scratch......unbound seemed to be working...but no stats...worked before my tinkering...working now. As a new member, I find this site very informative, friendly and accommodating for those of us wanting to learn.
