It seems like the problem is updated ASUS App version if installed fresh....devices already running the App which update with latest version have no issues...
I do not have AiMesh or AP node....i connect to the router on default "ASUS" SSID...
i did try disconnecting from the router by selecting "forget this network" as the password was saved but that did not change anything..

No, i don't think i installed anything called YazFi....i followed instructions from a youtube tutorial and got Diversion working but i did not think it was blocking much so i uninstalled it and made sure i did a factory reset to make sure nothing remained....

after my last post, I switched off the power to RT-AX86U-Pro for 10 mins then switched it back on AND wholla, wi-fi devices started connecting to 192.168.50.X range again..
that's all i did...power off for 10 mins, then back on...I did not change any setting!! how does one explain that? 🤔
