Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

Not sure that it relates to your Wireless Connectivity Issue. How many BQ16Pro's are you running? How are they connected (wired; or 6GHz)? If multiple Nodes, are Client Devices disconnecting from one in particular? As to Wireless: Are the disconnects related to any particular radio? (2.4GHz...

Sounds promising @NovaPrime!!! Are you seeing anymore dnsmasq service issues in your System Logs since updating to this latest version?

Real World Observations to Ongoing BQ16 Pro Firmware Updates...

As noted from time/to/time, there are Firmware Updates to BQ16 Pro marked as "Release" in the "ASUSWRT - Official" Forum, such as the latest release "ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/10)" The "release" posts are certainly helpful, but there appears to be more...

Release ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/10)

Thanks @visortgw ! Can anyone elaborate or does anyone have an "ASUS to English Converter" 😬 ? It would be nice to know what these things mean and what they actually do/fix for us as End-Users ;)

Release ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/11)

I'm sure the "BQ16" vs "BQ16 Pro" naming won't cause any confusion 😬 For confirmation, mine is the "BQ16 Pro" and does have the new firmware available in the ASUS Android App OH... and look what just showed up in the BQ16 Pro Web Site/Support/Downloads 🤗🤗🤗

Release ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/11)

Cool... Thank you! It "did" show up on my Android/AsusMobileApp. It's "not" showing up in my Pc/WebGUI nor BQ16 Pro Support Link, but nice to have your link as an option!!!

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

Thanks @NovaPrime ! I had been checking for Updates in my Windows PC/WebGUI but it did not indicate any were available. Fired up the ASUS Mobile App on my Android Phone and it found it! I'm going to hold off installing for a bit :)

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

As @Stepalex stated... this update appears to be only for the "BQ16"... not the "BQ16 Pro". I'm not seeing anything (within Router WebGUI or online support) yet for the BG16 Pro:

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

Interesting. For/what/it's/worth... I checked my BQ16 System Logs, running for 3 days since last boot, and no dnsmasq crashes.

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

That's crazy! I "get" that Best Buy has a special bundle of a 3-Pack Asus, but at the end of the day, it's an ASUS and ASUS should support it! I don't blame you for jumping ship!

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

Still worth checking Wireless Scan... While they may have good "signal strength", there could be interference by nearby AP Channels causing reduced throughput :)

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

With the Stock settings, the Asus Radios are set to automatically pick the best Channel. It's possible upon your first boot that they did in fact pick a good channel, then at some point automatically switched to (what they perceived to be) a better channel. Do you recall what Channels were...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

As I've been watching this thread, I've been thinking gee... my single node BQ16 Pro has been performing well for 20 days and I haven't been experiencing any problems... until today! Anything connected to my 5GHz Radio was not able to access the internet; Other LAN/Cat Devices and 2.4GHz...
