I'm not sure how to answer that directly as the programs don't indicate, however, what I can provide for an example is the following: I use JDownloader. Upon opening the program, it always checks for updates. With 3004.388.6_1 it can't connect to check for updates, or maybe communication out was...
Dirty update from 3004.388.6_0 to 3004.388.6_1. Programs that reach out to an external server to check for updates have not been able to connect. If I go back to 3004.388.6_0 the programs work fine.
After letting the router stabilize for a day, I can now see my Mesh Node, however, I cannot get it set up easily. It goes through the process for a while, zooms to 100% and says it is unable to add the AiMesh Node.

Still can't detect RT-AC88U mesh node that was updated to beta 2 and WPS reset with my AC5300. AC5300 was WPS reset after flash, JFFS format, disconnected USB HDD prior.
I have the exact same issues as Peter, I have AC5300 and AC88U. I've tried wired and wireless. I had only the node and main with PC connected to main; no other connections. I've tried every type of reset and setup, to no avail. When I revert back, and then reset, I can set up AiMesh without...
I too have been having issues with the AC5300 and these builds. Same issue with clients, every client is also appearing as ethernet connected. Can't do AiMesh. WiFi completely shuts down after 30mins (restarting brings it back online, but then goes down again).

I set up the main router to the extent of login and wifi SSID and password, leaving the rest default (WPS is on).
I don't even touch the Node after the WPS method factory reset.
Leaving the Node as wireless, but close to the...

I can set them up as mesh with 384.19, but if I update my node, then router to 386.1 alpha3, it no longer connects to the node, nor does it see the node during a search.
If I do a factory...
