thanks for your reply, Im om latest Merlin. 3004.388.4 Also tried org 3006 asus fw. Always on WIFI. Cabels to his room is not an option. This was not an issue on the Asus 82U wifi but GT-AX6000 is struggling and I have a new SSID.

Hi, just upgraded (I thought) from Asus 82U to the GT AX6000 Rog router. Now my son experience lagging when he plays fifa and fc24. We never saw that on the old 82u. Anyone else noticed the same? I tried it all with open Nat, QoS, game boost and all that you can activate in the router. But...

only used it for a couple of hours but feels like the most solid version yet on my pair of XT8 :) EDIT: When I go to QOS --> internet speedtest, inside WEBUI router restarts itself. Tried to reset the router and start over but same thing.... other than that, no problems so far.

Just installed RC9 on-top of RC8. I was pretty stable on RC8 so lets hope this works just as well.

Why does an ssid name have anyting to do with speed?

Im on my second pair of XT8 due to the first pair was laggy as hell and dropped connection. Thinking of returning these back also. They have been more stable than the first pair but still drops the wifi backhaul from time to time. My advise, cancel the order.

I did a dirty flash of Rc8 over latest offical build 25790 yesterday, have not make any reset. I must say it has been rock solid since then. Now I even have 160mhz for my 5-2 backhaul, never had that on official. And I love that I can lock units to a special nod.
