[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.63_2 is now available

Hi, AC87 with 380.63_2 just restarted itself without warning. Cannot see anything in the log, just sudden restart. I have a feeling it did the same with 380.62* as well, but I was assuming it was issue with Windows WiFi drivers (or these Windows 10 Insider Fast release builds) as connection...

    [alpha] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 preview builds

So you can use address like http://address:port/udp/mcast_addr:mport/ in VLC to view IPTV streams? Other commentors saying it's working for them don't seem to be using udpxy specifically.

    [alpha] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 preview builds

Was udpxy working for you in earlier version? I too cannot get it to work in .61. Looks like traffic is just not flowing. When starting playback on VLC, I can shortly see client on the udpxy status page as active client, but after few seconds VLC gives up as it cannot get any stream and client...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

I'm considering the same as all my devices keep dropping off the wifi every 15 mins or so. Looks as if the whole WiFi would disappear, and then reappear after 30 secs, after which all devices connect successfully, and work fine until the next drop.

    [CLOSED] Asuswrt-Merlin 378.50 Beta 1 is out

Thank you especially for the "Custom DDNS" (using joker.com), I've used my old DDWRT router for that, finally can turn it off

    wifi drops on 87u

Did you do factory reset after firmware install? Press reset button at the back of the router for like 10 secs, you see lights blink, then reconfigure everything. Seems (not 100% sure yet) to have fixed similar issues I had - not only with Merlin build, but also with stock Asus firmwares.

    Devices randomly disconnect from WiFi

Although being old thread, I'd like to add, that in my case (376.49_4 and 376.48_1) similar issue was fixed by _not_ having same SSID on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Changing radios to fixed channel didn't help in my case.

    Device access across wifi radios

Thanks, I'm aware of that "workaround". :) Extra bandwidth of 5 GHz would be nice, but will need to fall back to 2.4 GHz if traffic doesn't flow between them. I'm still doubting my configuration, do I need to put "loopback" cable from LAN port to another or something in router for this to work?

    Device access across wifi radios

Hi, I'm most definitely lacking correct terminology here, as I can't seem to think of correct search query words to find questions similar to this nor answers. I first noticed this on my Sonos speakers (which are connected to 2.4 GHz wifi): whenever I'm connected to 5GHz wifi with a...
