    I had the same problem, but hve always had Ethernet backhaul mode off. Is it possible thast adding a 3.0.0.4 node turns it on? I did not check for that.

    This firmware made my rt-AX300 unreliable. My iphone, when connected to the 2.4ghz SSID, randomly loses internet access. Switching to 5GHz always fixes it. This did not happen with the prior firmware.

    There is another difference. I do not think that the Guest network propgates to the APs, but can to the mesh nodes.
