Still poking around in the shadows. Nothing exciting to report on the new build, though I no longer use QoS as the service well exceeds any need for it these days.

@thelonelycoder is this something you encountered or dealt with at all? I haven't been around as much lately and the board structure is much different, I'm having trouble finding anything on the subject.

Safari bypasses your dnsmasq settings. I am currently in the midst of figuring out how precisely, and what can be done about it. I am presuming it's some flavor of DoH but still investigating. In the meantime, the answer to your question of "why doesn't it work" is that safari is doing something...

Yes, that would be generally accurate. Performance wise it’s the same, but I use pixelserv for some logging, troubleshooting and statistics purposes.

Though the certificate requirements being a moving target does have its own considerations, the actual issue reducing the usefulness of pixelserv-tls is that advertisers and developers are increasingly becoming wise to the blocking mechanism and are coding apps/etc to check for a valid server...

Yeah, I posted my platform and browser because I suspect it’s at fault. I’ve since checked Safari 14 on macOS 11, same result with the blank page. Works properly on Safari 13.1.2 on macOS 10.15

@KGB7 The issues you see with Safari, especially the password related ones, are limitations/quirks of Safari. Nothing you can do about those really.

Yours says it is disabled because “it may not be supported” - I wonder what constitutes “support” for that feature.
