Skynet My internet speed dropped with Skynet on

Strongly second the suggestion of @bennor , run the test from a wired computer. i don't put much faith in the built-in router speed test, it has been shown to be unreliable, especially for testing at greater than about 500mbps WAN connection speed.

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

PM sent, with a link to my syslog file on Pastebin. I don't use scribe, so it's unlikely to be related to syslog-ng (unless Eric has made that the default). I also proposed some possible reasons for the problem for you to review (could there be a problem using DNS Director set to Router, as...

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

I have finally moved over to the 3006.102.5 beta branch, and can report that the current version of AGH does work there: well, nominally at least. I can install it and it works perfectly until I reboot the router. I have tried a complete uninstall of AGH and re-install (without using previous...

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Indeed, re-ran the command line install argument with success this time, and went through the Option #1 re-install for good measure. All good, but I am still on a 3004 based firmware at the moment, hope to finally move to a 3006 firmware later this week. Thanks for the rapid update.

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Yeah, not sure how I would have hit even 60/hr (unless that is across your entire repository for all users, not just my requests). Regardless, any idea what happened here? Ie: why did my update from 1.7.7 to 1.8.1 seem to complete, but now even attempting to run "ag" from amtm fails?

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Hmm...I haven't been tinkering/testing the rapid updates (of late yesterday or today), until just now when I ran the above suggested command line: as with Stephen Harrington, it seemed to update the installer successfully to 1.8.1, but also indicated that the release version was...

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Yes, I suspect that many of us are waiting in the wings, hoping to benefit from the experiences of the brave souls testing these frontiers. In other words, those who don't have to worry about the WAF, aka the household CFO.

AdGuardHome AGH not working on new firmware 3006

Have you checked to see if the AGH filtering is also working on the new (more complex) Guest/IOT networks introduced in the 3006 series of firmware? This seems to be a major sticking point, not yet resolved, even for the veteran Diversion ad-blocking script.

AdGuardHome AdGuardHome stops working after every router reboot - have to un-/reinstall it every time

Add me to the list of users with this issue: AGH worked perfectly under the 3004 series of firmware, but completely chokes under this new 3006 series (at least on an GT-AX6000). Round and round failures after rebooting, if you can get it working and installed at all. I gave up and restored...

    YazFi Is YazFi gone?

Thanks; I already knew that the ideal/ ultimate "housecleaning" step would be a full reset and manual setup on the new firmware, but like most people, I was hoping to avoid that. Lots of little details would have to be exported and re-integrated (Wireguard and OpenVPN configs and certificates...

    YazFi Is YazFi gone?

I am well aware that YazFi will need to be removed before migrating to this 3006 branch of firmware, but I do recall that one user mentioned that it also required some manual intervention to fully remove all traces: anyone care to comment on more specific details or their experiences with that...

A perfect encapsulation of my thoughts as well: he remains the only forum user (of any kind) that I had to setup the blocking of viewing his content on my feed.

    388.9_alpha1 Firmware for RT-AX58U, GT-AX11000, and GT-AXE11000

I too had used SmartTTY for quite a while, but found some serious issues that made me move on to other SSH clients a couple of years ago, see here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/path-not-being-set-in-ssh-sessions.85914/post-853909

Problems with switch to AT&T fiber

Same here...I've been using the "dumb switch bypass" method for almost six years (since March 2019), and I think I've had to manually "restart" my internet connection (by briefly re-plugging in my AT&T BGW210 "RG") maybe 5-6 times, if that. Sure, it's annoying to know that it could go out at...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.14 is now available for AC models

No change in GPL or wireless code, so highly unlikely, only placebo effects (from rebooting) only.
