GT-AXE16000 is super expensive (over 700€ in EU) but what are the real alternatives? Seems all other options lack something what 16000 has. Dual 10G WAN/LAN ports are in QNAP QHora-301W, however it lacks other areas like bad coverage and slower WiFi speed, and not 6E.
Then there are bunch of 6E...
Hmm, I fail to see how my post was complaining? Nick "Preskitt.man" thought issues would be related to advanced features of router and I replied it isn't related to those and told my experience.
And wouldn't you say people have "right" to complain? RT-AC68U definitely isn't the cheapest...
Nope, I've actually disabled all advanced features (DLNA, FTP...) and it still reboots. Also when it comes to "average joe", we need to remember that issue is restarting, it will take 30sec-1min but after that everything works. Average Joe is used that technology might not always work so...
If some people have frequently reboots despite trying all settings, I don't understand why ASUS wouldn't want to try and capture those devices? I've been working myself for tech support for multiple years and when ever we have issue we can't reproduce we ask from customer if we could capture...

Has anyone with really frequent tried disabling uPNP/DLNA?
It can be found under USB Applications -> Servers Center -> "Enable DLNA Media Server"
I've experienced reboot as well :( Noticed uptime was 0 days, 11 hours, 50+ minutes.
Last log entries before reboot:
Mar 8 20:07:31 miniupnpd[1227]: sendto(udp): Operation not permitted
Jan 1 02:00:12 syslogd started: BusyBox v1.17.4
I now disabled DLNA-server, let's see...
So far my RT-AC68U has been working fine.
I was wondering, could it be that all reboots are not related to software itself but just faulty hardware, for example faulty memory? That could explain why issue is so sporadic and it's hard to reproduce.
Is there any way to perform memory test for...
