I’ve seen this behavior before. You have to forget the already configured networks on the client. Restart/reboot the client and manually setup the hidden network.

The 5G2 is always used as a wireless backhaul for wireless mesh network. It is not possible to use the 5g1 as the wireless backhaul for your mesh network. The only thing you can do is use a wired backhaul, turn off 5G1 and unhide 5g2

What if you run an ethernet wire from your RT-AX58U switch port to your XD4R Wan port? You should be able to configure the mesh node properly without having to worry about what IP network address range is set as the default for the XD4R.

It looks like this ability to use the USB device on a node is not available if the Lyra Voice is the main router. It only works if the main router has this functionality built in.
