    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin for RT-AX58U_V2

I don't know. All I know is, it worked OK before with Asus-Merlin on my node, and now it don't with stock. I'm hoping it will work again with a fresh fresh piece of speciality plastic.

    although that's a step above a lower end rout3er

    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin for RT-AX58U_V2

believe I can, could before, can't now. If it takes another AX86U, then so be it, it worked before.

probably not the issue, but you don't have a V2 do you?

    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin for RT-AX58U_V2

I've tried to change the way I've been networking around this V2, but I'm not happy with it, and I'm going to get another lower end router for a node that is compatible with Merlin, get my YAZFI guest network back, and trash this stinker for spare parts. I doubt if anyone would want one modded...

Can't upgrade to Merlin on new RT-AX3000U

The Asus guest networks should work. They work now on a different network, just no different subs for each one.

Can't upgrade to Merlin on new RT-AX3000U

Yep, that's what I had to do. I like having a separate segment for security cameras, but I've had to settle for it without. AX58U is doing fine as an AP. Thinking about dropping Aimesh and set the other AX86U as an AP.

Can't upgrade to Merlin on new RT-AX3000U

My 2 AX86U's are fine. Just having a little trouble with adding a non-merlin machine to the mix, but works after dropping Yazfi.

Can't upgrade to Merlin on new RT-AX3000U

    Yep, it's a quad core.

Can't upgrade to Merlin on new RT-AX3000U

I did manage to get it to pick up my cams. They are on xxx.xxx.3.xxx thru Yazfi. I set my AX58U to AP, then on that subnet and network, but there is no way to access it directly that I know. I've got to find out something better than that.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 Beta is available for select models

It appears the RT-AX3000 or AX58U V2 isn't supported, but isn't shown that way in the list. I'm hoping it's because it will be added in the very near future? If not, it may be helpful to edit the naughty list and show it so. I know I would not have bought a non-supported router if I had known.
