Skynet Skynet v8 - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

I had to uninstall and reinstall after update 8.0, and several other times. When adding back IoT blocking, it broke my IP tables rules and required uninstalling and reinstalling. after trying a couple times, I’ve left IoT blocking disabled for the time being. Running 8.0.4 I am however able to...

When should you use "--dns”? How does it function differently than “dhcp-option”? Is its implementation vpn provider-specific? When you use --dns server n transport DoT does it magically encrypt any DNS queries routed over the tunnel, or what actually happens? I use “--dhcp-option” all the...

    VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.8.2 -Nov 23, 2025- Monitor OpenVPN/Wireguard WAN/Dual-WAN Health & Random Reset Multiple Connections (Available in AMTM!) - v1.8.3Beta2

I think this is right. The order of operations matters here — trying to disable monitoring after the fact is too late. Discovered this by doing it the wrong way first, then restoring again. (Only for the second go-round, monitoring had already been disabled by me.) Thanks guys!!!!!

VPNMON Network Resolution Issue (could it be an errant kill switch issue?)

Not sure what the deal was, but ultimately all is well again…. With one caveat… I used an earlier backup on which I was still running VPNMON-R3 v. 1.4.1 Eventually, when I’m brave enough to update to the latest version, I’ll let you know how things go… 🫶
