Do you see DNS resolution errors when one of them are down? I ended up having to use keepalived with a virtual ip address between the two, to prevent issues with resolution during maintenance of one of the machines (hardware, software).
Dirty upgraded from 3006.102.5 to 3006.102.6 alpha2. At fist glance the UI feels snappier, and I didn't update to the previous alpha, so it's my first time seeing the fantastic traffic monitor. Devices seem to distribute more evenly across the nodes. So far so good!
If I leave the router at anything higher, all my IoT devices connect to it for some reason, even though a mesh node is close to it. It was a solution for my particular network. I have 120+ devices, and this configuration helps share out the devices to the ET12 nodes.
It took me quite a while to get things working properly as far as my IoT network on 2.4Ghz within the wireless professional settings. I had issues with bouncing connections between a lot of these devices that were fixed with lowering the performance of the 2.4ghz radio. Smart Connect didn't...
I don't have a BE98pro, so take or leave this comment, but is there are reason why you have 4? How big is your location? Also are you wired backhaul, or wireless? I have a be96u, and 3 ET12 mesh nodes wired backhaul. A little overkill for my location/walls/etc, so I turn down the transmit...
I have a be96u and I have VLAN in my gui since it is a vlan supported router. I have 3 ET12 mesh nodes which complicates things as far as vlans since they don't support assigning them to the ports themselves. I'm using a workaround though. I have my Homebridge server(Linux) connected to one...
Did a dirty update from beta2 to beta3. Full aimesh restart. Things were running well for a couple hours then the web ui started crashing, tried restarting the http server to no avail. I noticed it was crashing while loading the networkmap, so I bounced the networkmap process and it seems to...
Did an upgrade from beta1, then proceeded to do a full aimesh system reboot, and things seem to have come up and running well. Will watch over the week to see how things go.
Interesting. Have you tried removing 2.4Ghz from Smart connect? When it's outside of smart connect you may see different encryption options. I have them all separate but same SSID and password for 6ghz and 5ghz. When you swapped the router/node, did you start from scratch or restore the...
