RT-BE96U 3.0.0.6.102_38984 Professional settings nerfed after F/W upgrade?

Some of those settings did not make sense to be together. You'll either want 802.11ax MU-MIMO or 802.11be MU-MIMO, 802.11ax OFDMA or 802.11be OFDMA. So toggling WiFi 7 on or off makes more sense. (Unless my understanding is incorrect)....

What bugs me is that 6 GHz shows "20/40/80/160/320 MHz". The 6 GHz radio is 2x2 and supports a maximum 5764 Mbps, which is up to 160 MHz only. Why is 320 even there?....

    BE98 PRO What's Next?

The ASUS store has the Notify me button, so I would guess anytime now. Be sure you check Where to Buy as in the past retailers could get stock before the ASUS Store. I could have sworn there was pricing of $799.99 prior.... Will have to wait for (at least) quad band...

Really regretting this comment now... GT-BE19000AI pricing is up on the USA ASUS website: $899.99. Sigh...

But yes as you experienced mesh works same band to same band, same channel to same channel, and same bandwidth to same bandwidth. It does not hop from one to another...

You may consider separating AXE/AC to Access Point mode as I mentioned in this thread somewhere. Not quite AiMesh but works reasonably with WAM enabled on all bands. (I am not sure WAM is available on AC routers, because currently my AC68U is a node on an AXE mesh)...

I'm sorry but your router does not have 6 GHz capability. That is the reason you aren't able to use it...

The BE88U is dual band but the BE92U is tri-band. EDIT- More specifically the BE88U is limited to 2.4 and 5 GHz, while the BE92U has the 6 GHz as third band. (So far limited to low power indoor use of the lower half of the 6 GHz spectrum).

    ASUS RT-BE92U

If you mean AiMesh nodes like other ASUS routers and RPs the easiest way is to go to the Management (tab) and Remove each one one by one until all are gone. Then following factory reset add them back one by one. It is easier than trying to hold the WPS flipping on the power, waiting for the...

    crazy with RT-BE3600

82€ including VAT? That's an amazing price. About the client list, were you able to try a different web browser? For example if Edge or Chrome try FireFox?

    ASUS RT-BE88U - WiFi 2.4GHz drop with "Deauth_ind Unspecified reason (1), rssi:0"

Sorry to read they were not able to resolve your issues in a timely manner, and resulted in you moving on to a different brand. You've been really patient as you started this thread way back in March. I have seen the GL.iNet around the net. I should probably do some more research into their...

    ASUS RT-BE88U - WiFi 2.4GHz drop with "Deauth_ind Unspecified reason (1), rssi:0"

I went to your GL.iNet link and realized you are in Italy. I found power specs recently by going to the TP-Link global website and checking their Range Extenders: Transmission Power CE: ≤17dBm (2.4 GHz) ≤27dBm (5 GHz) ≤20dBm (6 GHz) For FCC (USA) < 30 dBm (2.4, 5, and 6 GHz)
