    RC-87u firmware change "stupid" question

    ok.. I've got an RC-87u that is working fine with 380.69_2. What would I be improving with flashing to 384.4_2? I'm not a tinkerer... so is the actual performance improved, or just the minutia that I don't want to even think about messing with. thanks for accommodating this query. kh

    That was my concern......... is it worth flashing to this new version vs keeping Merlin's 3.80.69 version? I haven't had your torrent trouble thankfully.

    I agree.. but since there IS a 382... that might bode well for a source code showing up. (or even a 384 ........hopefully)

    Well that could be it sure....... I didn't do the firmware up yet.. so it could all be bad timing. I've been known to be plagued with that.

    Ok.. here's the story. I was going to install the latest Merlin firmware to the router. For some reason it wouldn't log in to the 168....etc site saying forgot name/password. I hadn't changed them.. but still wasn't getting in so I decided to reset the router and start from scratch.. OOPS...
