My NEST wifi issues actually went away when I switched to Asus from a Netgear R8000 (DDWRT). I know that doesn't help your issue though, BUT my NEST is working great on the 56_2. (running on AC3200) What are your Wireless settings? Maybe we can see if something is different or off or whatever.

Asus RT-AC66U I'm having issues with port forwarding on the new .55 version, it removed all my port forwards and will not allow me to create any new ones. I hit add, then save/apply it goes through the normal process then reloads the page and NO port forwards are there, anyone else seeing this?
