Thanks, I was hoping it could avoided to have to shield the units somehow but I guess not. I'm have connected both a USB3 stick running Entware and a USB-harddrive so will have to check whether it's sufficient to shield the USB-stick (by using a cable, etc.) or if both devices has to be shield...
I tried to downgrading from "performance" to "good" on my AX86U and unfortunately it didn't help - my 2.4 ghz wifi still disappears when using USB3-mode.
@cap33444 I have been going back and forth between Asus and Merlin firmware on my AX86U using router mode a lot of times with full resets trying to get my internet connection stable using many types of settings (including DHCP normal and continuous modes) but with no luck.
If I connect a...
would it be possible to set your AX88 to run in access point mode instead of router mode? If so you might try that, in my AX86U setup that works, while using router mode (in a double NAT setup) the internet connection is not stable.

Yes at first I wasn`t so happy with it as I also had some stability issues but after having now installed Merlin beta 4 these seem to have disappeared and speed, range, etc. is great, etc. so would like to stick with a (silent) AX86U ☺
