hello all! i have asking this for many times but couldnt find the solution for this specific problem about the 5g band! i have tried all the firmwares that came out and nothing works. The 5g band will work normal after i freshly upgrade to new firmware or reboot but only one day for upgrade and...

i have a really weird problem with my 5G band. After fresh update and restore, or reboot then it will work just fine for a day or less and the lagging begin. Doesn't matter what firmware i have tried but nothing fix that problem! this is my second ac87u which i just received about 5 days ago...

should i turn off the beamforming and reboot the router daily? 5g is not stable at all. thanks

Such a liar!!!! I had every divices on this router and nothing works! Doesnt matter andriod or ios! Both lagging like crazy! Some firmware worked for couple days and back to shirtty lagging! Even just a small games on my iphone! Ps: 5ghz only tho

Stop arguing! I bought the netgear x8 and everything is good and stable! Forget about this sh..i..tty router!

don't waste your time! i tried every freaking firmware since i bought this router then never works correctly! buy different one and forget about this piece of sh..i.e...t!!! ps: only had it for 4 months and wasted 280$

i bought netgear x8 and everything worked perfectly fine! tried to use 87u as an access point but even worst! 5g is way way slower! 87u ruined asus brandname. at least for me

my router would work for a day or 2 and then start lagging bad, doesn't matter beam forming off or on PS: all my devices are iOS

My 5g is awfully lag! Im really really tired of this router! Worst router ever

Just turned off the beamforming on my 5G and reboot my router then everything much more stable now! Specially my 5G. Nomore lag on my game! Hopefully it'll stay like this!
